BioAtla’s ProATLA™ – Protein Evolution and Engineering Services provide a broad range of services in state-of-the art directed evolution and protein expression technologies, including comprehensive mutagenesis, combinatorial protein synthesis, protein expression optimization and bioassay development. Our team of scientists have extensive experience in molecular evolution and protein engineering, with a proven track record of delivery and success.
Our Key Competencies:
- ProATLA™ Evolution is a comprehensive mutagenesis and combinatorial protein synthesis process developed by our scientists to enhance enzyme and protein characteristics such as binding affinity, protein folding, substrate specificity, pH performance, enantioselectivity, expression and stabilty. Our evolution platform is able to enhance multiple characteristics simultaneously. We work with our clients to develop and implement appropriate assays to screen for superior candidates.
- Protein Expression and Purification. We work with our clients to rapidly evaluate in parallel a large panel of our in-house cell-based and cell-free expression systems to identify the optimal expression system for a candidate protein. We are also experienced in process development to produce proteins in scaleable systems. A customized purification process can be developed specifically for any protein.
- ATLAcode™. Comprehensive codon optimization of proteins is available for expression in microbial, insect, plant and mammalian cell lines and a variety of vector types through BioAtla’s comprehensive high-throughput in vivo testing process.
- ATLAmax™. Optimization of all components of the expression system is available through BioAtla's evolution technologies including promoters, splice control regions, introns, and upstream/downstream flanking sequences, as well as host cell engineering.
