ATLAb™ - Antibody Expression and Purification
Our scientists at BioAtla have extensive experience in generating antibody expression cell lines as well as in antibody purification in a wide range of hosts. For projects requiring expression of full length antibody molecules, the immunoglobulin genes are obtained from genomic DNA of hybridoma cell lines. Antibody heavy and light chains are cloned in our ATLAb™ mammalian vector system. Assembly is documented with double strand sequence analysis. The antibody construct is expressed in other human or mammalian host cell lines, tailored to our clients’ requirements. The construct is then validated by transient transfection assays and Western blot analysis of the expressed antibody of interest. Stable cell lines with the highest productivity are isolated and screened using rapid assay methods.
A customized purification process using affinity ion exchange chromatography is developed specifically for each antibody and customer requirement to maximize the yield, purity, and immunoreactivity of the antibodies.
