BioAtla – Name Origin
The name Bio was selected to align with its sister company, BioDuro, and is derived from relevant words such as biochemical, biodiversity, biology and others. Atla was taken from the word atlas because of our world view.
Leadership
Multidisciplinary team with a track record of protein genetics innovation led by Jay M. Short, PhD-Principal, Chairman and CEO. Jay has previously provided similar expertise at Diversa, Stratagene and Life Technologies (among others). He has contributed to over 100 publications and has been issued over 100 patents in protein and antibody discovery and evolution.
